Below are the pictures of the G3 circuit boards - Apples, and Mine.
- Here is the Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L installed in the G3.
- This is showing the installed motherboard, SATA DVD, SATA HDD, and 460 Watt Power Supply all installed.
- Another shot of the DVD, HDD, and PS - Here you can see that I have not yet installed the new circuit board.
- This is where I had removed one of the original motherboard mounts that I resued.
- This is the reused motherboard mount. I used that epoxy that comes in a stick that you have to knead together. The kind I used set in 5 minutes and was fully cured in 45. Also note that I had to modify the plactic tray that is below the motherboard to make space for it to slide, etc.
- Here you can see the spot where I removed a mount, where I reused it, and also where one of the originals still is.
- Alas, here it is all booted up and turned on. This page was actually written on the very machine that you are looking at pictures of. Whoo hoo!
